What do you think the expectations for the season are now Ole has gone? Can Cardiff still win promotion? Or is the squad too unbalanced after Ole's tinkering?

Now Ole has left I just wondered what everyone's thoughts on him are? Was he simply not up to the job? Or was he hindered by Tan interfering? He certainly can't complain about a lack of funds to build a team!

I just wanted to thank the 649 people who entered our free World Cup Correct Score competition on football-rumours, even though we only got it ready to launch extremely late! Good luck to all of you over the last few games.

We will be running the Correct Score competition again throughout the season, with monthly prizes and ones for the whole season. It will still be free to enter and the monthly winners will receive a £35 club shop voucher for their team, runners up a £15 voucher and 3rd will get a £5 voucher. At the end of the season, the overall winner will get a £50 voucher, 2nd a £25 voucher and 3rd a £10 voucher. Look out for it to be launched soon!

All our competition winners will soon have a badge to display on their profile and next to their name when they post. They are just the first in our forthcoming range of profile badges you can get for reaching goals on the sites.

We are also in the middle of producing a new game, which will run on our betting site (footballrumoursbets. co. uk), which is currently in alpha testing. The game is to be called 'Flat Out Racing' and will be about betting on live computer simulated horse races. It will be free to play and we will be running prize competitions on it, which will also be free to enter, as soon as it is ready to enter beta testing. Please look out for the beta test launch and participate in helping us, you never know you could win a prize for doing so!

There are lots more improvements and additions coming to the sites in the future, as we have a huge list of things we intend to bring out as soon as we can. From more competitions and games, to new features for your profiles and the sites.

Thank you to all of you who have registered an account with us, over 23000 of them have been created.

Frazier Campbell leaving is great news. I like his energy, but he gets dispossessed almost immediately and to compensate for that he goes to ground quickly to attempt to draw fouls which don't come. Javi Guerra would be the true striker Cardiff have needed for the last few years. I hope for our sakes that Guerra comes here and doesn't find a way to weasel out of his contract signing back in February.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ole confirmed today the deal for Guerra is happening and is 'watertight' apparently.

Hunter.

Yeah I agree bluebird. I would like some more money for him however.

I like Campbell but I am not too bothered if he leaves. Even though he was top scorer he missed loads of decent chances. It looks like OGS has bought some real talent with lots of potential in up front. Regardless, I wish Frazier all the best in the future but I think w are going to be fine next season.

heard this months ago but just had it reconfirmed, we are more than interested in the Wolves striker Macalinden the one that scored the winner for them at MKDons and sent the fans into a frenzy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen that goal was quality, heard this info last season so it might have legs.

Surely Sunderland won't be debited points for playing a player not registered. He was originally their player and they brought the situation to notice. Don't forget teves was not registered properly and west ham beat shef united who were relegated, no points deducted.

Alan shearer talks good as a tv pundit but let's face it he was a rubbish manager at Newcastle then he picks on zaha who had 3 players marking him at times, perhaps if you played the guy from the start you'd get more out of him, he played well against Southampton playing as a sub again. Saints supporter

Agree0 Disagree0

Zaha played well against Newcastle no mention from shearer.

goodbye tan and cardiff

Duh, well done John.

So Odemwingie says that Ole got rid of him because he was not very good defensively. While I agree he is lacking defensively, he is a forward and surely it should be about whether he will score the goals to keep the club in the Prem or not?

Is solskjaer studying DVD of Sunderland s last 2 matches, it's a must win and a 5 days to work it out let's not make excuses about not knowing a team selection just assume its their last team do work out some tactics and get a win.

Agree0 Disagree0

No we wait till we see the team sheet then make a plan A. {Ed003's Note - stop talking to yourself.}

22 Apr 2014 00:52:31
Will mr tan give solskjaer the dreaded vote of confidence, you have to say west ham and palace seem to have managers who know what it takes to survive. Is the club going to go into free fall even with the parachute money. As solskjaer said it going to take a -------.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ole will be there next season and given the summer to re-build in my opinion.

Hunter

22 Apr 2014 00:33:44
All the clubs do market research on other teams, most businesses inquire information about competitors, we don't need to do this as we know where we are in the league 3rd from bottom with a terrible goal average. Just hope solskjaer watched sunderlads last 2 games to know what he needs to get the team to do. we won't get away with another lucky Southampton result.

Agree0 Disagree0

Did you go to Southampton? Lucky?

Hunter

When this spy gate investigation is over Cardiff will most likely be relegated but mr tan has tried his best to draw attention away from the sacking of moody, mackay and the situation he created. If a leak from one club to another has happened is most likely in general conversation. Most Cardiff fans could pick the team anywa and the palace team seems to be any 11 from 13 every week so it should have been advantage bluebirds.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Apr 2014 00:17:16
Look at palace. Sunderland and villas result against Chelsea, Cardiff beating man city if you knew a team a month before it wouldn't make any difference. I've know 12 year olds with a team who hadn't won all season beat a team top of a league. It's down to the manager to give the players belief, and confidece to carry out tatctics. Sad to say Cardiff seem don't seem to have a game plan that works they put the effort in but don't get results

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Apr 2014 21:27:17
13 points from 17 games since mackay was sacked so if the present management had been in charge from August 2013 we would end up with 29 points if we'd stuck with mackay ended up with 35 points from jan 2014 we are in the bottom 3 why on earth didn't we stick to a proven manager like west ham. Solskjaer is doing his best but with an inherited team.

20 Apr 2014 20:55:07
You have to say Marshall has been one of the best keepers in the prem league but if the defense had been better he wouldn't have had to make so many saves, the guy has had so much practice 67 goals against so far

Agree0 Disagree0

19 Apr 2014 00:42:53
Perhaps clubs should stop loaning players to clubs in the same league, again they will have mixed loyaltys. the top clubs have players everywhere a potential source of information. Even for the following season.

Agree0 Disagree0

Think after palace result today
the cardiff complaint is stupid
palace can win away games without any home team info
cardiff can't win that's the difference
john

18 Apr 2014 00:12:18
This is the advantage of foreign players who can't speak English they can't leak information

I'm sure solskjaer is a very nice guy but like the owner he isn't up to the job. Thank god he didn't get the man united job he'd be like alice in wonderland, Gunnar go back to Norway soon.

Agree0 Disagree0

Give him chance, 3 games left and still in with a chance of staying up!

Hunter

17 Apr 2014 23:38:53
I don't think Edna Barron thought for one minute giving Cardiff team away would get to this level the guys made a silly mistake but bet most people in football could have predicted the team anyway. Does solskjaer wait till the opposition team is announced before planning out a game, I thought all the top teams analyze the opposition.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Apr 2014 23:21:57
You've got freedman jealous because palace have done well since he left, Vincent tan on a vendetta against moody I just wonder if they have been so squeeky clean throughout their careers. As a saints supporter this situation I could name saints team and formation so what on earth is everything such a secret next thing it will leak out that Cardiff are stirring up about Swansea team bust ups

Agree0 Disagree0

It wasn't so long ago at Spurs didn't a certain owner break the rules offering bonus to players. people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

Cardiff getting desperate
palace beat them fair and square
going down goodbye
john

17 Apr 2014 23:00:34
If solskjaer new palace had an idea of his team selection why the hell didn't he alter it and catch palace out, all I hope that it doesn't backfire on Cardiff did Cardiff ever get information on other teams when moody worked for them ( think about it)

Agree0 Disagree0

That's right solskjaer was a jump ahead but still lost the game

Once a game starts its down to the manager to alter it if things aren't going to plan, solskjaer admitted after the game they ran out of ideas, so if palace who have picked almost the same team since the transfer window should have been watched for a weakness. you can look on bbc text on Friday morning to see who is going to be missing from a Saturday's game why on earth is this getting so much attention {Ed003's Note - could you register your name please.}

Tv are the biggest source of leaks but let's face it they pay the bills. Good luck Cardiff let's hope it's not down to the last game to keep up, Chelsea are a different class. You did make a mistake changing managers. Saints supporter.

17 Apr 2014 22:48:25
Strange how this spying situation got leaked to the media instead of being dealt with in house or with the premier league, it is a sad situation but blimey no one has been shot. Sad to think that an ex palace manager and player has stirred what has been going on for years. I wonder if freedman has ever tried to get a player to Bolton or palace back room staff without approaching palace first?

Agree0 Disagree0

Freedman has tried to poach palace players even took their back room staff not that he's done that well.

17 Apr 2014 18:52:41
I just can't see solskjaer phoning tony pullis on the best way to beat stoke. My guess is the same team that played saints but if we play as in that game we have no chance it was robbery.

Agree0 Disagree0

Can saints have a replay as we had an off day
cardiff would never ever get that win again
john
