I read a few weeks back that us and Everton were trying to sign momo sissoko, but we couldn't negotiate personal terms, £4m was the bid/value?. Now he has been released by Juventus ands is on his way to Reading on a free, surely we should be trying to grip him now on a free? No fee equals more for wages? Top top player. Mitch.

Cover? Sissoko and Medel in the centre would be seriously strong, really tuff to break down, it would be like dropping two walls in the mid lolol. I'd be happy if Malky brought him in.

I think medel and momo as holding mf's would be amazing. but its not gona happen, because we can't sign him till January. I think he will probably sign for a team in a country that allows him to play straight away. no harm in trying tho, but do you think Cardiff will change their stance on personnal terms? can't see it myself.

We can sign him now, his contracts been terminated he's a free agent. Red Smoke {Ed001's Note - that depends on when exactly his contract was terminated. If it wasn't before the transfer window closed, then he can't sign for a Prem team until the next window opens. If it was before it closed, then he can join a Prem team.}

I believe it was cancelled after ed, that's why I said he can't sign for us. its a little bit daft if you ask me. Am I right in thinking its only the epl that has this rule ed? {Ed001's Note - I don't actually know if it is only the EPL, I thought it was all top flight clubs under UEFA's jurisdiction. The idea being that it stops people cancelling their contract midseason to jump team outside the windows.}

The mail claims prem teams can still grip free agents in: Craig Gordon, chris Baird, William galas, Khalid boulahrouz, Anthony reveillere, David Bentley, Momo sissoko, mahamadou diarra, yossi benayoun, Carlton cole, Vincenzo laquinta.?? A couple of freebies there that will defo strengthen City.
